Zendaya is speaking up after rumors spread on TikTok that she’s pregnant and expecting a baby with boyfriend Tom Holland. As broken down by The Cut, the whole thing started via a TikTok trend called #Krissed, which sets up a false premise to lure in the viewer and then pranks them, revealing they’ve been #Krissed. (The reveal is set to a video of Kris Jenner dancing — it’s basically the 2022 version of the Rickroll.) Several #Krissed videos centering on Zendaya floated around the platform, including a fake sonogram designed to look like an Instagram post from Zendaya’s account and a Photoshopped pic of Z with a baby bump under a gold jacket.  If you watch the full videos (they’re not long), you’ll see the #Krissed reveal, but apparently some folks didn’t stop before scrolling on and believed the fake posts to be real. Soon after, Zendaya started trending on Twitter because of the rumored pregnancy, and now the actor has posted a statement to shut down the whole thing.
